Stainless steel as such is not a good heat conductor. Therefore it will always be combined with a highly conductible metal (like aluminium or copper). This conductible metal will mostly be found in the base surface only. In other cases you will find it back all over the body surface, which we call multilayer material. Utensils made of stainless steel have almost unlimited durability, withstand all usual food and detergents and have a neutral odour and taste. Stainless steel can resist temperatures up to 250°C.
The inox parts of your Beka cookware are guaranteed for 10 years from the date of purchase, provided it is used as per the use and care instructions.

The BEKA fruit juice steamer in stainless steel works according to severe hygiene principles. Tje juice is pasteurized passing through the steam. You will notice that the quantity of extracted juice will be very high!
Carefully wash the fruits and vegetables, remove the bruised parts and put the fruits in the fruit recipient adding sugar gradually.
It is preferable not to clean delicat fruits to avoid losing some of the juice. Berries should be disposed of the stem to avoid the juice to turn bitter. Apples, etc. need to be cut in pieces. If you wish to make a marmelade of prunes, cherries, etc you need to remove the stone of the fruit first. In other cases the fruits may be put in the recipient without removing the stones. For rhubarb there is no need to peel the halm, just cut the fruit in dices.
Fill the water recipient with water and check (after about 0,5 hour) if the reservoir still contains enough water. The extraction takes, according to the type of fruit, from 35 till 70 minutes.
Check if the pliers close the tube well to avoid any loss of juice.
The BEKA Fruit juice steamer allows you to extract the juice from fruit till the last drop. You not only obtain a natural and pure juice but the sugars that the fruit naturally contains are extracted maximally. This reduces the quantity of sugar that needs to be added to the juice considerably.
As you can use fruits from your own garden or those too ripe to be sold, you can reduce the price considerably. And your juice will be a natural juice, rich in vitamines and with a long storage life. This is not the case for juice obtained with a juice extractor where you squeeze the fruit for juice.
If you choose to make marmelades after extracting the fruit juice, please cook the juice and sugar in a marmelade basin or other recipient.
Of course you can also extract juice from many types of vegetables: e.g. tomatoes, carrots, celery, beetroots and oignons. According to your taste, you can also add some salt.
