The heavy lid of the casserole is double-walled, for faster heating and better heat retention. The lid knob is designed in such way your dirty spoon can rest on top of it. No more messy or clumsy behaviour in the kitchen. Just a great design and an elegant look! No more need for a measuring jug thanks to the inner capacity marks. Read off the exact volume quickly and easily from the scale on the inside of the product. The casserole fits perfectly in an isolating black bowl in ceramics. This means that a layer of aluminum is encapsulated between two layers of stainless steel, giving you an optimal heat conduction and –distribution. The advantage is that the aluminum can’t be attacked by aggressive detergents, so there will be no white corrosion spots on the base. Ergonomically designed easy to grip handle in stainless steel in combination with synthetic material. An oven glove is recommended for use with stainless steel handles. All handles on Beka cookware are designed to fit perfectly in your hand.

Stainless steel

Stainless steel as such is not a good heat conductor. Therefore it will always be combined with a highly conductible metal (like aluminium or copper). This conductible metal will mostly be found in the base surface only. In other cases you will find it back all over the body surface, which we call multilayer material. Utensils made of stainless steel have almost unlimited durability, withstand all usual food and detergents and have a neutral odour and taste. Stainless steel can resist temperatures up to 250°C.

Silicone

Silicone feels soft, looks nice and is heat-resistant (up to 350°C), which makes it increasingly popular as a material for cookware. It is especially used for accessories and handles or knobs.

25 Years

The inox parts of your Beka cookware are guaranteed for 25 years from the date of purchase, provided it is used as per the use and care instructions.

This means it will be repaired free of charge or replaced if any item is found to be defective due to faulty materials and/or manufacture, during household use.

This guarantee does not cover defects caused by negligence, abuse, commercial use and/or normal wear and tear.

  • After cooking, you just place the hot casserole in the ceramic bowl, and the ceramics will retain the heat for up to 2 hours, while remaining cool to the touch on the outside.
  • Put your dirty spoon on the lid knob in between stirring or serving.
  • You can also use the ceramic bowl as a serving bowl for pasta, salad or fruit. 

A casserole is most commonly used to cook pasta, rice or potatoes, make soup, or stew vegetables in it.
