Carrot puree


Step 1

Clean the carrots and cut them into thin slices

Step 2

Stew the carrots with thyme, bay leaf, salt, pepper and sugar until they are done

Step 3

Add a little water

Step 4

Pour off the carrots and put them through a vegetable-mill or mash them with a potato masher

Step 5

Season the carrot puree with salt and pepper

Step 6

Finish with butter or cream

Step 7

You can bind the carrot puree with mashed potatoes if liked

  • 80gr butter or 1dl cream
