Grilled kale chips


Step 1

Remove the middle part of the stems of the kale. Wash the leaves and dry them. The kale needs to be dried thoroughly. A salad spinner is a handy tool to do that

Tear the leaves into bite-size pieces

Step 3

Tear the leaves into bite-size pieces. Make sure that all sides are lightly covered.

Step 4

Season with salt or your favorite topping.

Step 5

You can grill the kale chips or bake them in a preheated oven of 180°C.  Place the leaves on a baking sheet or grill rack. Bake until crispy (6 to 10 minutes; preparation time depends on the oven and the size of the leaves).Give the leaves a good stir halfway the baking process.
