Grilled tofu skewer

Preparation

Step 1

Drain the tofu before marinating, so it will absorb more flavors. How to drain? Place the tofu between two cutting boards and put some weight on the top board. Let it drain for approximately 20 minutes. 

Step 2

To prepare the marinade sauce, mix 1 part soy sauce with the spices and 1 part sweet chili sauce.

Step 3

Dry off the tofu with a paper towel and cut it into equal pieces. Place the tofu in the marinade and let it soak up the flavors for at least an hour up to one night.  

Step 4

Put the marinated tofu and vegetables one-for-one on the skewers.

Step 5

Grill for about 5 minutes or till the desired cuisson.

Ingredients

  • 200 g tofu
  • soy sauce
  • sweet chili sauce
  • spices: ground coriander, ginger and paprika
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 zucchini sliced
  • 20 cherry tomatoes
  • 10 skewers (or use rosemary sprigs)
