Directions
- Clean the carrots and cut them into thin slices
- Stew the carrots with thyme, bay leaf, salt, pepper and sugar until they are done
- Add a little water
- Pour off the carrots and put them through a vegetable-mill or mash them with a potato masher
- Season the carrot puree with salt and pepper
- Finish with butter or cream
- You can bind the carrot puree with mashed potatoes if liked
