Scallops with spinach


Step 1

Cut the scallops in half

Step 2

Dry them carefully with a kitchen towel

Step 3

Clean the spinach and melt it in butter (à l'anglaise)

Step 4

Clean the shallots and the garlic and chop them into very small pieces

Step 5

Fry the chopped shallots slightly in a little butter

Step 6

Add the spinach and the garlic

Step 7

Pour the cream over it

Step 8

Let the cream boil until the sauce thickens

Step 9

Spice up with a little salt and pepper

Step 10

Grill the scallops for a very short time in an oven or in a grill pan

Step 11

Serve the grilled scallops on a bed of spinach

  • 50 g shallots
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 dl cream
