Preparation
Start by making the chamomile tea.
- Mix the water and sugar over medium heat.
- Bring it to a boil and stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the tea bags while stirring.
- Cover the pan and let it steep for 15 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags from the pan and discard them.
- Place the saucepan in the refrigerator and let it cool to room temperature or chill it further. This for minimum 1 hour.
Ready to make our cocktail!
- Put the grapefruit juice and half of the strawberries in a blender.
- Mix everything until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a pitcher.
- Add the chamomile syrup, whisky, and tonic.
- Add the strawberry slices as decoration, and finally the ice cubes so you can serve it ice-cold.
- Add some ice cubes to your glass, then pour in the punch. Garnish with fresh flowers, a slice of grapefruit, and a strawberry.
